Creta Farm cuts energy bill in half with secondary cooling (temper-15) and Mita adiabatic cooling technology
After a devastating fire Creta Farm decided to rebuild and install a cutting edge energy efficient solution for the production plant in Crete. The prestigious assignment to design the new cold storage went to ecoRef in Athens. They designed an indirect cooling system with R407F and Temper -15 as secondary fluid using adiabatic Mita technology. The results have exceeded the expectations with significantly reduced energy costs.

MITA corrosion-free cooling towers for tomato processing line
In the canning industry the cooling towers are used in the tomato paste production plants and in the cooling of the cans’ pasteurization line. The use of cooling towers allows the process water cooling also in unfavorable ambient conditions (in summer) while respecting the environment and with a considerable saving of costs. Evaporative condensers for a brewery in Cuba
In 2015 the production plant of a brewery in Cuba was completely renewed and the process has been modernised. In this context 6 condensers belonging to MCE series supplied by MITA were installed. The new condensers replaced completely corroded condensers made in painted carbon steel.
